Aim

The Singapore National Orienteering Standards is a series of certification that aims to equip participants with the skillset to navigate safely in the outdoors and participate in orienteering events around the world.

Other than technical knowledge, we also aim to improve our participants self-confidence and understanding of their decision making processes along the course of their orienteering journey.

Levels 1 & 2 are designed for course participation in Singapore parks and urban built up terrain (such as HDB estate). The process flow for this is a training course to learn the basics followed by assessment at a separate time / date.

Levels 3 & 4 are designed for course participation in a partial forest / urban terrain and will take place in regional countries. These higher level programs are periodic and will be led by a coach & our regional partners.
