School Orienteering maps are a great tool for educators to share about the sport of navigation in a safe environment. It is the aim of OrienteeringSG for the creation of an O-map for each national school from Primary to Junior Colleges.
We are also committed for the development of a National agenda for Orienteering as a definitive tool for PE / OE assessment.
Benefits of having orienteering map in school:
- To teach about map legends from the small features to big features
- To use as a tool in the case of wet weather option (vertical navigation or multi storey)
